Ness walk said: "Luxury doesn't have to cost the earth", and proved it by implementing these sustainability initiatives and retaining a five-star reputation.

One of Ness Walk’s guiding company principles is to offer a luxury stay in Inverness whilst protecting its beautiful environment and country.

Initiatives include installing nine electric car chargers, responsibly sourced and cruelty-free guest toiletries from Arran Sense of Scotland, offering guests the option to save water and energy by reusing their towels, and using locally-sourced ingredients where possible.

They work with the local Tourism Business Improvement District, Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN), which has proudly become the first carbon-neutral BID. And, they’re not stopping there.

VILN have launched a Climate Action Plan for 2022/23 which will help local organisations reduce their environmental impact and have also partnered with Trees for Life to offset carbon and regenerate habitats in the area.
