Taking its inspiration from nature, and offering tranquillity and indulgence in equal measure, the hotel’s spa has been built in the style of a Sussex barn with an exposed timber frame, polished limestone and large windows which bring the outside in. Facilities include heated indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and steam room, six treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art gym.
The Soul Retreat (60 minutes, £103) is one of the hotel’s most popular spa treatments. The wonderfully relaxing experience begins with a soothing foot ritual where the feet are gently soaked, exfoliated and massaged.
This is followed by a back, next and shoulder massage, and topped off with a nourishing face mask and a relaxing head massage. Pure bliss!
