The Wild Larder: A Foraging Walk & Lunch with Tom Radford
Step into the wild beauty of Dartmoor with renowned foraging expert Tom Radford at Bovey Castle. Discover seasonal ingredients, ancient folklore and the hidden flavours of the moorland landscape on a guided foraging experience through Dartmoor National Park, before enjoying canapés in the wildflower meadow and taking part in a special tree-planting experience. The day concludes with an elegant dining experience celebrating the very best of Dartmoor’s natural larder.

- Three-course foraged-led lunch in The Bovey Room. Carefully crafted by Executive Head Chef, Mark Budd, the menu celebrates the season through refined dishes shaped by Dartmoor’s natural abundance, paired with a glass of English wine and served in the elegant surroundings of the castle.

- £125 per person
- 9:30am Arrival at Bovey Castle with coffee and seasonally foraged bites
- 10:00am Guided foraging walk with Tom Radford across the estate grounds (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours)
- 12:00pm English sparkling wine reception with canapés in the wildflower meadow, followed by tree planting
- 1:15pm Three-course foraged-led lunch in The Bovey Room with a glass of English wine
- Suitable outdoor footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended for exploring the estate comfortably.
