Garden Tour - The Cutting Garden

Not only do the plants and flowers look good in the garden, but they also provide flowers and foliage for the house. Join Middlethorpe Hall's Head Gardener on a guided tour of the gardens sharing his knowledge and tips on what to plant for cut flowers, followed by Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly.

  1. This event includes:

    • 2:00pm Arrive for tea or coffee and biscuits in the Drawing Room.
    • 2:30pm Take a guided tour of Middlethorpe's gardens to learn how Head Gardener Andrew Leighton and his team of National Trust volunteers work to create year round colour, and provide flowers and foliage for the house.
    • 4:00pm The garden tour will be followed by full Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly.

  2. Terms and conditions:

    • Advance booking required
    • £55 per person
    • Please advise of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking.
    • A change of shoes is advised for the gardens.
