New Year at Glenapp is always a special occasion and this year’s three-night getaway promises to offer you a festive season to remember. Your New Year house party at Glenapp Castle offers you a chance to escape and luxuriate in the magnificence of Glenapp Castle and its 110 acres of private estate and local woodlands.

  1. This offer includes:

    • 30th December
    • Arrive in time for champagne afternoon tea and enjoy listening to the Glenapp pianist on the bay grand piano.
    • Come and meet your fellow house party guests over pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the Drawing Room and enjoy the twinkling sound of the Glenapp harpist.
    • A three-course gourmet dinner is served along with mouthwatering homemade petit fours.
    • 31st December
    • Enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast before heading off for a day of fun with our New Year curling bonspiel in Stranraer. You will be coached by some of the finest coaches in the world as you sweep your way to success.
    • An afternoon tea will be served before heading back to Glenapp, where you can enjoy the roaring fires in anticipation of possibly becoming the Glenapp curling champion.
    • The black-tie Hogmanay party kicks off with a champagne reception in the drawing room followed by a magnificent six course Hogmanay banquet dinner with wines. Tonight, you will experience Scottish pipers, Scottish dancers and the traditional ‘beating retreat’. After dinner kick off those high heels and enjoy a traditional Scottish Ceilidh and dance the night way.
    • A glass of Champagne at midnight and a piper or two will ‘bring in the bells’ Glenapp style.
    • 1st January 2024
    • A lazy and leisurely brunch will be served perhaps with the offer of a Bloody Mary for those that need it!
    • An exciting afternoon of activities for you all to choose from: an interactive falconry display with magnificent birds of prey or find your inner robin hood with an archery lesson and game, both are included within your New Year break.
    • Warm up with a cream tea and capture the moment with our in-house caricaturist.
    • A three-course gourmet dinner will be served followed by our infamous prize giving for our curling competition and evening entertainment.
    • 2nd January 2024
    • A great Glenapp Scottish breakfast before a final farewell.

    • As this is a special offer, Glenapp asks for full pre-payment at the time of booking, however should you need to cancel, just let them know 14 days in advance and you can modify your dates completely free of charge towards a future booking anytime within the next 12 months.
