Bedford Lodge promotes the use of local suppliers, producers and manufacturers where possible to minimise carbon emissions coupled with supporting the local economy. They also promote environmental awareness among employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
They aim to reduce waste by reusing and recycling, regularly monitoring all resources throughout the hotel including water and electricity, and avoiding unnecessary use of hazardous materials and products where possible.
